Kuruvi

Can you remember when you last saw Kuruvi(House sparrow)?. It is very difficult to spot kuruvi now a days. In my childhood days i used to spent lot of time to watch birds esp Kuruvi and other water birds (In my native place my house was surrounded by water in rainy season, so got chance to watch lot of water birds.). I can remember there was a sparrow nest in our compound. But now a days these sparrows are diminishing. The waves generated by cell phones affect reproduction capability of sparrows. Urbanization also contribute its part in diminishing sparrow's count. Please keep a bowl of water and some grains for these small birds in your terrace.
